Español: LAS PLEYADES.
Las Pléyades, del griego Palomas, es un asterismo dentro de la constelación de Taurus, conocido también como Los Siete Cabritos o Las Siete Hermanas. Es un cúmulo abierto de estrellas jóvenes rodeadas cada una de una nebulosa de reflexión, es decir refleja la luz de su estrella central, y se sitúan a una distancia de 450 años luz del Sol con un radio de 30 años luz. A simple vista, con binoculares o con un pequeño telescopio se puede resolver el asterismo de 1º 50' de largo y con una magnitud de +1.6. Ver una descripción mitológica en el siguiente link: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pléyades_(mitología) El recuadro con los datos de la hora de salida (Este) y el paso por el meridiano del lugar corresponden a la estrella ALCYONE, la más brillante de las 7, y tales datos son aproximadamente válidos para el litoral argentino y costa atlántica.
