| Description |
English: Sky plot of the X-ray sources within the two error regions for each location of Sagittarius XR-1. The first detection at J2000.0 RA 17h 58m 11.13s Dec -29° 12' 14.9" has a 3° diameter error circle at the east. This overlaps the large polygonal error box for the second detection at J2000.0 RA 17h 48m 12.31s Dec -30° 00' 58.6", which trends SE to NW in the sky plot. The intense collection of X-ray sources within the polygon of the second detection is a series of deep penetration Chandra X-ray Observatory visibly dark X-ray sources. Credit: Aladin at SIMBAD. |
